ShantiLink uses a Facebook Messenger integration to receive Page webhook events, record ad referral information, and help our team follow up with people who contact our business Page.
Information We Process
When someone messages our Facebook Page or opens a Messenger conversation from an ad, we may process the Page-scoped sender ID, Page ID, message timestamp, first message text, ad ID, ad title, post ID, referral source, referral type, and publicly available Messenger profile fields such as name, profile picture, locale, and timezone when available from Meta.
How We Use Information
We use this information to identify the source of a Messenger lead, route the conversation, avoid duplicate lead records, and support customer follow-up. We do not sell this data.
Data Sharing
Data may be stored in our internal workflow tools and spreadsheets for operations. Access is limited to authorized staff and service providers who help operate the workflow.
Retention
We retain lead and message records only as long as needed for business operations, reporting, legal, and security purposes.
